Cyber Informed is an independent cyber security consultancy led by Darren Arnott, CISSP, with more than 25 years of experience in IT and over 15 years specialising in cyber security. Darren combines senior advisory and governance experience with a strong hands-on technical background, including penetration testing and technical security assessment.

His work spans cyber security strategy, governance and risk, virtual CISO/CSO engagements, security assessments, executive reporting, security improvement programs and specialist technical assurance. Darren works across boards, executives, business teams, internal IT and external service providers, helping organisations turn complex security challenges into practical decisions and achievable improvements.

Darren is also a published author and conference speaker, with experience across government, financial services, healthcare, education, retail, food production, utilities and not-for-profit organisations. His approach is independent, pragmatic and focused on making cyber security understandable, measurable and aligned with organisational priorities.
